John Lindner brings many years of executive and managerial experience in several industries including : educational publishing, information and data management, consulting and information technology. Currently holding the position of Managing Partner at Sagres Consulting, LLC, John and his partners assist mid and small cap organizations in a review of their strategic direction and devising a strategy for follow through with a particular emphasis on Human Capital and Organizational Development. John has proven expertise in creating sustainable human resources infrastructure to help companies grow without over-engineering process and policies.
He contributes as an outsourced HR Department working seamlessly inside companies. Many times the client's employees do not know that he is an independent contractor. John primarily works on a retainer and over an extended engagement so that he can plan and organize the HR support that mirrors the needs of the business. At the same time, he ensures the basic compliance issues are aligned and foundational HR Support and processes are humming.
Previously, John served as President of a start-up, John successfully launched CHECKProz in 2011 for The Quarasan Group. Previously serving as the Senior Vice President of Human Resourced at Quarasan and Vice President of Human Resources at Anexsys, John closely partnered with executive leadership to transform culture, meet aggressive growth plans, protect profitability and cost-effectively retain top talent. Both organizations launched aggressive growth plans in shrinking markets.
In all of his executive human resources roles, John utilizes his leadership and operational skills to support projects, reduce company expenses and streamline processes throughout the company. His passion lies in building human capital strategies that shape culture, develop human capital depth, and create "just the right amount" of infrastructure for compliance and organizational clarity. Orchestrating synergy across all HR platforms creates the foundation of his change initiatives. John has also spearheaded a company-wide initiative in total-quality management at a billion-dollar information and data company, Transunion. Known for his ability to envision on the macro level but implement on the micro level, John enjoys finding ways to help organizations implement sustained and lasting change. A good listener, inquisitive, and tenacious in getting to the root issues are how others describe his style.
