Catherine Lindner is an experienced, strategic marketing leader and retail enthusiast. As one of the founding partners of Sagres Consulting, she assists retailers, manufacturers and suppliers in innovative relationships and catapulting growth. Combining a keen knowledge of shoppers, retailers and consumer goods companies, Lindner guides clients through the complicated retail landscape. She has developed successful shopper marketing programs for innovative brands. Additionally, Lindner created the positioning and marketing of innovative technology solutions including Shelfbucks where she held the position of Chief Merchant.
Prior to founding Sagres Consulting, Lindner was Vice President of Retail Marketing for Walgreens, responsible for marketing strategy, planning and execution of their $24 billion retail business. Lindner joined Walgreens as category manager of the hair category. She was promoted to Divisional Merchandise Manager of the Beauty Division and then to Divisional Vice President, General Merchandise Manager of Beauty, Fashion and Personal Care. Walgreens leadership then tapped Lindner to create the first Retail Marketing Department in the company's 105 year history.
Lindner started her career at Information Resources Inc (IRI). She held several positions in marketing mix modeling, client services and category management consulting. Lindner was Board Chair for the Network of Executive Women and led the development of the organization's 10 year strategic plan. She earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters in Business Administration in Marketing from DePaul University.
